Events FAQ For Ticket Purchasers
Does Commissioned Events charge me a fee when I buy a ticket?
No, Commissioned Events doesn’t charge you a fee for purchasing tickets. Commissioned charges event organizers a small fee for events, unless the event is free. Event organizers may choose to pass that fee onto you, along with other fees they want to assess.
How can I send messages to the event organizer?
Commissioned Events has an integrated communications tool that allows you to communicate with event organizers on a limited basis. Commissioned is not responsible for anything related to the communications tool, including whether messages are sent or received, or the content of messages. On the event dashboard, open the Attendees list then tap the Hosts tab to see a list of your hosts. Tap a host name to send them a message.
Who handles refunds and disputes?
The event organizer, not Commissioned, handles all refunds, disputes and anything else related to the event. Direct all questions to the event organizer.
Does Commissioned organize the event?
Commissioned Events is just a ticketing platform and does not organize the event. Event organizers use the Commissioned Events platform to promote their events and sell tickets, and event organizers are responsible for organizing and holding events. Event organizers are fully responsible for their events and ticketing, and Commissioned has no responsibility.
How are event organizers handling Covid-19?
The Ticket Purchaser Terms of Use have Covid-19 restrictions, which you should review. The most important part is that you comply with event organizer and venue policies on Covid-19. Event organizers should be able to provide you with additional information.
Who is at fault if something happens at the event?
The event organizer is fully responsible for anything that happens at or in connection with the event, including the actions of those who attend the event. Commissioned is not involved in the event beyond providing the Commissioned Events ticketing platform and has no liability related to the event.
